You can use Mastodon's "Filters" feature to hide posts containing certain words, phrases, hashtags, links or emoji.

Filters can be set to show filtered posts behind a Content Warning, or to hide the posts completely.

They can hide stuff on timelines, notifications, profiles, conversations etc.

They can be permanent or temporary.
