One of the things I paid dearly to learn over the years: whatever you do or make or experience, don't take it too seriously.
The desire to matter, to actualize, to self-affirm is a wonderful thing, but it can at times be so overwhelming, that it can prevent you from actually making any impact, all by itself. This leads to being trapped inside a constant feedback loop of you being stressed and obnoxious and, worst of all, impotent, for no real reason.
And the true triumph of what you are and what you're capable of, the actual change, your true relevance, may come once you've given up on trying to make a difference. Everything just kinda falls into place. May be not exactly and completely the way you wished it to be - but isn't that okay?
So do yourself a favour and relax and stop trying too hard.
@drq never!
