Gregory's ServerGoogle is developing a terminal app to support Debian Linux on Android, allowing users to run Linux commands. This app is part of the Android Virtualization Framework (AVF) and includes a WebView that connects to a Linux virtual machine via a local IP address.

OK this is interesting, but... why is Google doing this? How are they hoping that this will get advertisements into my eyeballs? (Which it certainly won't). Or are they scheming to rent services running in this VM?
Any way, knowing Google it'll probably be abandoned soon enough.
