Purple is always beautiful. 👾 (though cornflower blue looked great too).

Now Mastodon will be in the "purple league" together with Hubzilla and Plume (Owncast and Minipub).

(And there's still not enough green Fedi branding!)

sorry to say but I'm not fan of the new colour scheme. Links are now very hard to read. At least on a dark background in the #Mastodon App (Android). Not a smart move design wise.

@Mastodon @oakstudios A feature request for your mobile app: could you please add accent color chooser to the app settings? For example, giving users purple by default, and other options like blue, green, orange, etc. It would be nice and can be useful while using AMOLED app theme.

My main problem is that gradient does not look good, its pretty hard to find a good hue for purple.

So I feel like it should be put in flat design or a different type of gradient. :smug:
