about an hour in, she threw her hands up and yelled 'THIS IS JUST MATH' and stormed off

@senatormeow Satan only gives instructions as Dungeon Master when you play Led Zeppelin records backwards. @senatormeow Did she start thinking that math is satanism? Or did she stop thinking D&D is satanism? @senatormeow Satan's greatest accomplishment was wrapping His evil message in math to make it look boring 😂 @senatormeow at first I thought this was going to be a wholesome post about a granny joining the D&D session, but this output makes me happy as well "Homework, The Game" - Mabel Pines, Gravity Falls season 2, episode 13: "Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons" I ran a D&D session for my peacenick college professor aunt and uncle one time. First encounter they get jumped by some kind of ogre or something a lvl1 could handle. "He lunges at you menacingly. What do you do?" "I negotiate. Clearly we have tresspassed some how and I'd like to parley to make amends." What? I couldn't convince them to fight. All conflict was resolved through negotiation or if all else failed was surrendered or avoided. Hardest DM work I've ever done. whoa this popped off unexpectedly today, keep current with my thoughts at https://open.substack.com/pub/senatormeow?utm_source=mastodon 🤖 Tracking strings detected and removed!
