@nusan neat - why did you stick to the pico8 environment instead of using something similar, say using love2d or other frameworks?
I understand the appeal of a custom game engine, but not sure about the positive aspects of mimicking pico8 limits.

@fsouchu then there is the question of why I keep making Pico 8 games at all, well I find it fun, it limits scope a lot, and that's great when you are making tiny games by yourself. And also, I love the all-in-one aspect of Pico 8, making everything in a cosy environnement |
@fsouchu well this is an emulator, so the goal is to fit Pico 8 as much as possible, with a few added things. Using love2D would mean not making a Pico 8 game. Right now, Zebulon is both a pico 8 cartridge you can play in official Pico 8, and a game on Steam and Switch that handle achievements and a wide screen mode
