@mhoye tbh this might be why I always felt like a better programmer in machine code (not even assembly language). There is of course so much better than machine code but it feels like maybe I was all the way back on the family tree of programming, enjoying some of the benefits before certain possibility branches went functionally extinct and we went down the "store code as ascii" branch of the family of possible programming realities
