I expected cameras in the Ratcliffe control room .. a worker turning a knob or flicking switches… a proper old fashioned dial falling back.. substation switches opening … steam venting … coal conveyor stopping .. boiler damper closing. The event deserved more than a digital display on the grid SCADA.
