@MartyFouts Coal is still used for making steel in blast furnaces, but the blast furnace in Port Talbot is shutting down to be replaced with an electric arc furnace (https://www.theguardian.com/business/2024/sep/30/port-talbot-steel-town-braces-for-shutdown-of-its-last-blast-furnace) and Scunthorpe may follow (https://www.theguardian.com/business/article/2024/aug/23/thousands-british-steel-jobs-christmas-union-scunthorpe)
