 I got ya!! I hope to ease your racing minds a bit. I just am not seeing the same level of enthusiasm in "his" supporters. Just yesterday, they rented a parking lot and vacant space next to a McDonald's. Guess which parking lot was fullest? Literally 20 people showed up. I know the stakes and am going to fight this fight for all that need me to fight for them. I just don't think he has the mojo this time.    Absolutely, yes. I used to say something like, "especially in any state controlled by Republicans" but they've raised the stakes even higher now.  @tillybridges Some of us will vote to protect your rights as well. Hoping you find some peace in this shit show.  @tillybridges β¦was the margin of error 8%, or did they ask like 25 people and two of them were Blair White and Caitlyn Jenner?  @lisamelton @tillybridges Anyone who calls themselves an ally better step up and do the right thing. (I trust that most will! β)  @tillybridges unfortunately it very much feels like you're preaching to the choir on fedi, and even more unfortunately it seems as if it's mostly only trans people and people who are very close to trans people who really even care about us having rights at all, i think that's the larger problem here

We all know what happened to LGBT+ people last time Nazis were in powerβ¦ π¬π¬π¬ @annaymone that is literally Kamala Harris who has an excellent record defending trans people She got California to be the first state to ban the trans panic defense and pushed other states to do it, among other things sheβs great for us. VOTE FOR HER @tillybridges yup, just can't silence that nagging thought that I may have to try and move to Norway if this goes wrong |
@tillybridges I should have took a picture but we were out at a neighborhood market and one of the booths was selling tote bags with slogans like "Trans people are AWESOME" and "DON'T BE AN ASSHOLE" I would imagine you would approve.
