Neat! I'd be interesting in seeing how your keyboard plans progress. There doesn't seem to be a lot of good options for handheld keyboards, and the old stock of Blackberry keyboards seems to be drying up quickly.
I wonder if someone has plans out there for a FOSS keyboard PCB where you could just get it printed by someone like pcbway and then put in your own through-hole mini switches and a stock MCU.
