@gamingonlinux Oh excellent! I really enjoyed it but sometimes did get crashes. Hopefully this should resolve some. I wonder if this will enable letting it be played with #Proton? EVery time I've tried before, the initial menu launches but launching the game itself just loads forever. Will have to try and see... @Blort it’s been working in Proton the entire time, Denuvo doesn’t stop Proton It's never worked for me. It always just got up to the screen about optimizing shaders or whatnot and stayed on it forever. This was with a number of versions of straight proton in Steam, not installing other people's workarounds. @gamingonlinux awesome! This already ran “ok” at least using Fedora or Steam Deck. This updates promises a lot of improvements. No Denuvo, plus that damn “optimizing shaders” screen being fixed were my main concerns. Let’s see if Digital Foundry updates their review 🙂 @gamingonlinux I think based on several bits anecdotal evidence we can safely classify Denuvo DRM removal as just another performance improvement. @gamingonlinux We removed Denuvo, also performance hitches. The two are totally unrelated though 😉 |
@gamingonlinux now, top it up with a nice price drop please :D
