wonder how easy it is to do some basic layer compositing in kdenlive :neocat_thonk:

like having two videos overlaid and using a third video to assign an alpha channel, to do something cool like use a train as a wipe transition.

olive and natron can do it. don't remember if blender vse can. (having to flip to a compositor to do transitions is ass... hope you can write a script if you have to go that far :neocat_flush:)
