@yogthos The scientific METHOD. That's different. It's also used to deduce flaws in 'the science'. Too bad the media doesn't generally report flaws in 'the science' the Scientific Method winnows out...  @heretical_i of course, pretty much the whole point of the scientific method is to mitigate the flaws in research methodologies and human biases. To me science is inherently intertwined with the scientific method. We come up with a hypothesis, we test it, and we try to replicate the results independently. If these things aren't happening we're not doing science. :) |
@heretical_i it's trust in the method, I'm not aware of any better approach than the scientific method for achieving desired results available to us
