Gregory's ServerI don't think it's an understatement to say Processing was THE reason I got into graphics programming 10ish years ago and changed my career and my life into what it is now. Thank you for all the work you've done and I hope you realize that your work was not in vain even if the foundation has become unrecognizable. You've changed a lot of lives and put a lot of good into the world with it!
@Wijfi @benfry @janeadams processing was foundational for me too. I got into it 23 years ago as a teenager when it was in alpha? Was called p5 or proce55ing I believe. Had tiny msg board but I was blown away how easy it was to code up interactive fractals. Really opened my eyes to "human-friendly" coding and the importance of visuals and fast feedback. 🥰
