What a great website this is. Containing so much information about Polish swear words and at the same time having a beautiful and simple design. Love that, check it out.

@rysiek Well, I think "pierdoli膰" and "jeba膰" are absolutely perfect substitutes in that if you keep the same prefixes and forms, but change the roots, meaning stays the same, doesn't it? Can't quickly think of examples where that isn't the case. You're most welcome! :) @kaptenkloun one difference between "jeba膰" and "pierdoli膰" would be "z"/"s" prefix. No such thing as "sjeba膰", and no such thing as "zpierdoli膰". Granted, this is a bit "cheating" on my part, as the "s" prefix for "pierdoli膰" does what "z" prefix for "jeba膰" does, roughly. There are also slight nuances in meaning between "-jeba膰" words and "-pierdoli膰" words, sometimes. But there are other swear word roots that do have considerably different meanings with the ~same prefixes. 馃檪 |
@kaptenkloun as a native Polish speaker, I can confirm that the information on this website seems correct and complete.
Obviously this is about only a certain branch of Polish swear words (a similar website could be built around "jeba膰" and other roots).
Thanks for sharing! :blobcatcoffee:
