@yogthos I can never tell if someone on fedi being anti-left or anti-liberal is conservative, communist, or something else (maybe anarchist?)
I don't really know a lot about any of these things, being an ignorant American, but I'm learning a lot lately. I'm finding the concept of mutual aid the most compelling.
@simSalabim mutual aid has to be part of any meaningful social change, but I don't think that it addresses systemic problems on its own. I highly recommend reading The State and Revolution as a primer for understanding how politics work under capitalism and the paths to achieving systemic change.
I find that it's one of the most lucid political works and just as relevant today as the day it was written. It's also short and an easy read overall.
