No idea if there's a technical reason they can't be used for soda, or just cost. And they presumably are just as recyclable as aluminum cans, just resealable like a bottle without the risk of breakage that comes with glass. I tend to think Dr Pepper is in the best position to start the use of this as their beverage is unique, forcing people to pay if they want it. (...)
