Evil sometimes seems a better determination. I don't like that assessment... But to be honest, while they are doing harmful things, they usually make money off of them. @The_Icarian Billionaires don‘t have to play by the same rules. If you owe a bank 100‘000$ you have a problem. If you owe a bank 100 Mio. $ the bank has a problem. That‘s why morons like Trump get through life with the IQ of a squirrel: they were born rich and always had the banks by the balls. Just ask the banks who lent money to Musk to buy Twitter. So no: they won‘t buy less planes or yachts or islands or whatever they like, because they don‘t have to (and they are psychopaths too).  @The_Icarian yeah. My occasional latté is going to make all the difference. I must spend, ooh, maybe five pounds a time on coffees perhaps a couple of times a month and I have never had a smashed avocado on toast. |
