Luckily most people who do share this content have a hashtag that is easy to block via keywords. Such a nice filterable thing this. π―βΊοΈπ @eloquence The good news is that I've seen screenshots of Mastodon posts floating around the internet a couple of times the same way as those from Twitter. We're getting there. @grishka @eloquence I want, badly, to see screen shots of Mastodon, posted to Xitter, then posted back to Mastodon w/ a flummoxed, wrong, or bewildered reply. I would follow a bot that posted Mastodon to Xitter, then posted the result back to Mastodon. Troll trolling? Troll fishing? Could it go wrong, could it attract their attention? Sure, probably, but when they think they are going to swarm they have to pick a server, create an account, make some friends because there is no algorithm, ... @grishka @eloquence @SmartmanApps @grishka @eloquence just FYI if you're referring to that tweet that's like "my son said software engineers are waking up about Musk" that was someone saying he's hearing a similar sentiment to mine from his son. That wasn't my actual dad, I have no idea who that guy is. |
@eloquence same goes for the niche social network owned by a certain ex-president.
I understand the impulse; but it is mostly ragebait.
