@handmade_ghost right!? They were seriously enormous! Well for mushrooms anyway ๐  @nathanlovestrees As soon as I figure out a way to pixify myself, I'm moving in under that root umbrella. @mu yes! It reminded me of some kind of fantasy book, dwellings built on cliff sides or tree houses and the like    @nathanlovestrees be careful, with colors that vibrant there's gotta be a portal to the Feywild nearby. Seriously tho, gorgeous.  @nathanlovestrees they look almost like Sulfer Cap mushrooms but Huge  @MishaVanMollusq @nathanlovestrees or maybe Jack 'o Lanterns, though they aren't clustered @schizanon @MishaVanMollusq in the alt text i hypothesized they might be eastern jack o lantern but i am not confident in my theory @nathanlovestrees @MishaVanMollusq a chanterelle look alike, so I've found thousands of them ๐ @BassRck5000 And the metro-gnome is getting his drumset ready, those shrooms are on his beat. @nathanlovestrees  I'm a big fan of bright orange accents, and those cuties are doing an excellent job of it. Are they edible or is that lovely color a sign to keep away? @yam655 I am never confident in my mushroom IDs so hard to say for sure but all my best guesses are unsafe to eat! Just looking at them I would expect them to be _some_ level of unsafe to eat. I enjoy pictures, and I like _thinking_ about eating mushrooms, but I don't really eat them myself.  |
