@gamingonlinux it was fun, until they started #snaps and later ask for "#protection money" if you want security updates of software they let you install for free, but then hold back updates later behind a pay wall. NO THANKS!! #NO_UBUNTU Good times gone. so is #UBUNTU @gamingonlinux I do not like it. Snap = nicely packed mess What is in this snap ? Arch Linux maybe ... @gamingonlinux My experience with Steam on Ubuntu was awful, that is until I completely removed the snap and install the official Steam client... I'm never going to give this snap another chance until Valve is involved in it @gamingonlinux Canonical has lots of open and long standing job openings. But check out their interview processes on Glassdoorโฆ Leaning into Snaps scared me off Kubuntu for my current system. |
