@georgepenney Much kudos to that man. I've told a few self-service checkouts to sod off when they've asked me if I need assistance when I'm busy getting my purse out to pay, or when they tell me to "Please take your items". The timings are all wrong, and the sensitivity on the bagging area scales means I easily get "Unexpected item in the bagging area" if my bag has moved slightly. It's not an unexpected item, it's the damn bag!

Plus the camera and flatscreen so they can show you they're watching you at the checkout - good luck with that, since in summer I'm wearing a floppy-brimmed hat, shades, and now an FFP3 mask against COVID. 3:O)> (Maybe I should get one of those "skull" face coverings as seen on videos from Ukraine, and modify the shades with a couple of red LEDs for added shits & giggles on their security video?) ...Or hold a tablet playing cartoons in front of the camera?
