But actually, all third-party apps on Android take unprocessed pictures by default because most of the time all the smart processing is part of the OEM camera app. It only changed relatively recently when an API was introduced for apps to opt into image processing. It may vary by the manufacturer but that's definitely the case at least on Pixel phones.
