Was reminded of @aeva 's hilarious post about arstechnica reporting on google chrome extracting a pint of blood and couldn't resist making this meme.

An article from Ars technica with the headline of "Google Chrome now somehow extracts a pint of blood every time it's opened". The description says "Google Chrome user says "I swear to god I am like this close to switching to firefox"".
With the author text saying aeva@mastodon.gamedev.place and the date saying September 8 2023, 05:45.
There's a footer above the headline saying "This post was written in firefox--"

@sirobsidian@fosstodon.org @aeva@mastodon.gamedev.place You don't need to go so far as to switching to Firefox! Zinquist is a Chrome fork that extracts 90% less blood.

I wonder if I prematurely kicked Chrome off my devices...

There are times that I misplace my diabetes testing lancet, this may be just the thing... brb
(tick tock music) ..

Doesn’t work very well,
It does the stab, all right,
but doesn’t leave enough blood to test, and the anesthetic amplifies the pain.

Unripe mosquitos work better.
