OS stereotypes:
- Windows 11: You are a normie
- Windows 10: You think you know about computers; there is a 95% chance you don't really know shit
- Windows 8.1: You can't afford a new computer and don't want to use Linux
- Windows 8.0: You do not exist
- Windows 7: You think Windows used to be good; you are deluding yourself
- MacOS:
- For adult men: You are a techbro or hipster who shouldn't be taken seriously
- Otherwise: You are a normie
- ChromeOS: You don't have your own computer
- Ubuntu: You are probably taking a software development course
- Mint: You want to say you use Linux but don't want to learn anything new
- Fedora: You are a normie but you're also a software developer
- Debian: You are a sysadmin
- MX Linux: You went on distrowatch.com and installed the first distro on it
- Manjaro: You want to be an Arch user but don't know much about Linux
- EndeavourOS: You want to be an Arch user but don't want to actually install Arch
- Arch: You are a bigot, a nerd, a trans girl, or some combination of the three
- Artix: You like Arch but hate systemd
- NixOS: You used to use Arch, but don't like all the normies that use it now
- Kali: You think you're a hacker; you 100% aren't
- Gentoo: You think you are wanted by the government; there is about a 20% chance you actually are
Some of these stereotypes are from personal experience, I know exactly 1 Artix user and she's a trans girl who thinks systemd and sudo are bloat, uses a tiling window manager, codes in Rust, uses a stickerbombed ThinkPad, and had a Pixel running GrapheneOS
