@gregeganSF This reminds me of Acetabularia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acetabularia), a genus of single-celled algae that are 4-10 cm tall.
There must be a whole subculture of single-celled organisms that do not care for size limits! ðŸ¦
