That kind of bullying also occurs in 'The West' too. Not just a thing in those 'foreign countries people might associate with Islam'. It's far more universal than that. It occurs in secular communities as well as religious ones too.

I was adding that not because you'd said that but because I could see some people responding with that because of what people think of how women in majority Muslim countries (& is the case in at least some).
