@J12t the question is: which Fediverse?
Go sign up for one of the terrible instances where they encourage harassment with bots that report when users from other instances block anyone on their instance.
There's a 4chan-like dark side to the Fediverse that we don't see on the polite Fediverse.
@schizanon I donโt have much experience with that, but obviously that exists, too! If you have an open network where anybody can participate, you get those โprojectsโ, too.
And Iโm so surprised we havenโt seen much more spam on the fediverse so far. Because if it ever grows into something substantial, all the worldโs spammers are going to show in force, and I donโt think we are event remotely prepared.
