Google is updating its policy to remove low-quality apps from the Play Store by August 31, 2024. Apps should provide a “stable, responsive, and engaging user experience”, or they will be removed or restricted to improve user experience.

@alternativeto I like this because Android has third-party app stores. Developing apps shouldn't be advertised to people who are unable or unwilling to even change the default.
This is assuming that Google does a good job enforcing this policy.
