Instead of mindlessly scrolling and liking half the posts I see to feed the algorithm with more data and opportunities to grow, I have to stop and think whether this post is good enough for me to relay it to hundreds, potentially thousands, of other people. Even if I’d put ‘boost ≠ endorsement’ in my bio, it still would feel like one. I think (or hope) that it’s similar to many more people on the Fedi, so that it leads to a more healthy social feed over all.
