@denschub I can't go on Reddit so I will just respond to you here, and hope you and Mozilla listen. It doesn't matter if individual privacy doesn't get "invaded". Your model still puts people in statistical boxes, and then discriminates between them. This will include categories you do not want to be able to target, like racial, gender based, sexual, healthcare, or other qualifiers. Politically this is an issue, this allows people with horrid intentions to reach audiences to stoke violent rhetoric, or serve material meant to discriminate to people in certain groups. Also even knowing statistics of the sizes of groups, their behaviours online, and what they use online is an issue that can have dire repercussions. The ad industry is based on a system that willfully systemically puts people in boxes and exploits their mental weaknesses to their own gain. It doesn't matter how individually obfuscated you make it, it's evil non the less. And giving in to this scum of the earth and working with them is honestly vile, I hope this reaches you but I'm afraid it won't.
