I'll say! and it looks like they were partly successful in chewing their way through, too. Look at those bites they took outta that thing!
@bascule Raccoons are trying to break into Cybertrucks, and there's some speculation that this is happening because the raccoons are literally IDENTIFYING them AS dumpsters Fixed it for you π @bascule Serious question: what did they make this out of? The same plastic as the cheap garage storage bins Home Depot sells that crack below freezing but they still sell them in Canada and I'm not at all annoyed about this. @kurtseifried @bascule apparently the last slat is plastic to avoid crushing fingers if you close it with your hands still in the way. @bascule Incel Caminos are dumpsters. The raccoons are not confused. @bascule I mean, theyβre not wrong. Theyβre just less likely to find food in the ones with steering wheels. @bascule @Compassionatecrab @bascule I saw one in a parking lot the other day and two elderly women were puzzling over it completely baffled as to what it could be. They finally decided it must be some sort of police vehicle because βit looks bulletproofβ @Compassionatecrab @bascule Just because you have money doesn't mean you have taste @Compassionatecrab @bascule so someone bought one then painted it? Maybe that'll help reduce the rusting? @aka_quant_noir @bascule they were camping, per the original thread, so there was probably food inside. https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/raccoon-damages-cybertruck-bed-vault-tonneau-cover.20349 @bascule , me, too! I always see them full of trash. @bascule on the other side of the road there's a confused Tesla owner trying to open the dumpster with their car keys. @bascule Hey... I would really consider it "not at all hard to confuse with dumpsters..." I'm pretty sure I've seen dumpsters with almost the exact same profile. @bascule ah yes, the mighty bulletproof cybertruck, now adding raccoons to its list of kryptonites π @bascule "Confusing them for dumpsters," implies they're not rolling dumpsters to begin with. @bascule lmao Imagine paying too much for a PS1-ass-looking car that had more recalls than other whole brands had in their lifetime, can't be taken to the car wash because it will break, was made so shoddily that the accelerator had a chance to jam... ...and then you find out that animals literally think it looks like garbage, too. 11/10 Perfection What a piece of crap. The plastic shed that I keep my gardening equipment in is stronger than that. Raccoons are Guardians of the Galaxy; they know Evil when they see it! @bascule its smell can not lie to raccoons, but as humans we can overthink our sight. @bascule It's a good thing they didn't get in. As romantic as the idea of raccoons simply nibbling away our problems in "The Birds" style is: The garbage that is usually transported in them is highly toxic. Don't want the little furballs to get harmed. |
@bascule I mean lmao but they do legitmately contain garbage
