I wouldn't be so disapointed because of this, if only the clearly communicated about this, and made me tick a box. The way it was done now was that I just updated Fx, and it was enabled by defaut. "But it's anonymous..." Yeah go fly a kite. I don't care. All you needed to do was tell about the option when the browser updated, and make me personally tick a box if I so chose to do. (Of course I wouldn't.)

The infuriating shady part here is that it just silently switched on.
