Excited for Severance season 2, but I miss when shows came out yearly as a kid, I barely remember what happened in season 1 at this point

@christianselig Same tbh, I remember loving it but that’s it lol

@ReneHenrich I have too many backlogged shows to get through as is to rewatch stuff unfortunately ;_;

Jerrod Hofferth

@christianselig I was holding onto irrational hope that “tomorrow” would mean a surprise drop of the first episode…

Rob Huebner

@christianselig true, but as someone with generally poor recall for stuff anyway, I don’t hate the pre-season re-watch life, great show too

Roger Ogden

@christianselig I definitely think it would have been out sooner if there wasn’t that long writer strike. Can’t wait for the new season; this kind of show is right up my alley.

Christian Selig

@ogden Oh probably, but they still over a full year between the first season ending and the writer's strike starting ;_;

@christianselig youtu.be/w77YTHQhqCc I was just thinking that the other day. This vid has a nice recap of the season.

Michael Cook

@christianselig If it had more episodes it wouldn’t feel quite as bad.

3 years for (I’m assuming) 10 episodes is hard.

@christianselig With as many new shows there are now, most times they wait and see if S1 is “successful” before green lighting S2 to even begin the process. Then we also had a actors and writers strike from May to Nov last year hwere NOTHING moved

Jared White

@christianselig It's strange indeed. Severance S1 felt like a real cultural moment, perhaps the second huge breakout Apple TV+ show after Ted Lasso. Having S2 come out so-o-o far in the future (and I realize like many shows it was impacted by all the strikes) really sucks.

@christianselig it kind of works out of my favor to be a procrastinator sometimes because I don’t have to deal with this when I eventually get around to a show. I did watch season one and I barely remember it also.

Robert Atkins

@christianselig When you get to work you’ll remember what happened.

Dallas Groot

@christianselig there are very well put together YouTube videos explaining what all happened.
