@b0rk it's useful if the terminal type is wrong.
@chrisgerhard @b0rk Yes! I remember ctrl+j stty sane ctrl+j as the magic incantation on various unixes (AIX and Solaris, IIRC) when you had mistakenly piped a binary file to stdout and wrecked the terminal.
