Democracy's Library kicked off with Canada and the US. Canadian govdocs are under "Crown Copyright" which makes things less clear.

The Libraries in Canada have just written a Best Practices to make it more clear on how to build Democracy's Library Canada.

Don't be fooled! Librarians are a completely different genus, they are also extending their hours here in Toronto just so folks in the heat wave have somewhere with air-conditioning and no user fees. Imagine!
