There was pretty much en-mass migration when Freenode experienced a hostile takeover, to mostly Libera Chat, and some to OFTC.
Communities include Ubuntu, Debian, Wikimedia, curl, jQuery, Phorge, Keepassxc, Redict (née Redis open source), Tukaani (known for the recent xz compromise), WordPress, and many more.
