@SteveJonesnono1 I think we can take this one step further. The #tories have not ever regretted, apologised, or expressed remorse for the disastrous effects of their leadership. There’s nothing from the Tories like “we’re sorry for untreated waste going into drinking water. Re-elect us and we will fix it.” There’s no part of what happened that #Conservatives say they didn’t intend. It’s not just that it was a “success,” they are unrepentantly successful.

We have to remember this 5 years from now when they inevitably suggest voting #Tory again. We know what lies down that road.

@paco and by the same token, regardless of Starmer's promise of change, Labour has committed to carry out the same policies with the same "iron clad fiscal rules" as the Tories. Austerity with a smile rather than a scowl.
