@rdamus@techhub.social @nixCraft@mastodon.social @mms @nixCraft Well, there is Chimera Linux (https://chimera-linux.org/), intended for desktop use, and doesn't use GNU completely; instead, it uses FreeBSD's implementation of coreutils, LLVM to compile the kernel, and Musl instead of glibc @nixCraft I think the entire "GNU+Linux" pedantry is dumb as hell, and I have an entire counter rant to it. @nixCraft@mastodon.social @nixCraft "work is being done" I don't know much about kernels but don't newer android flavors of linux kernels use clang for most/all of the compilation? |
@nixCraft this might be one of the funniest things ever written about Linux. I've been using it since 1995 and this captures almost the entire rubrick. Bravo
