@Minetest are there world seeds? Is there a conversion process for minecraft world seeds?
@mguhlin When you create a world, a random seed is chosen for the mapgen.
Minetest is not Minecraft, we don't use the same mapgen - we have our own. So you can't use a Minecraft seed in Minetest and expect the same result.
You can convert Minecraft worlds to Minetest though, using a tool: https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?t=13709
