@FlockOfCats@chadkoh I think in design/behavioral sciences(?) they would say this indicates that the door handle design instinctively tells people to pull, and if they want people to push, they should install a horizontal door handle or something designed in a way that signals people to push not pull.
"People not reading the signs" isn't the problem, it's that the door was designed in the wrong way, a way that doesn't match people's natural behavior.
