Gregory's Server@AuthorJMac I agree, but we don't need AI for lots of those use cases, see washing machine/dishwashers. We've had the capabilities to make our lives much more convenient (in the ways you're referring with AI) for decades and we haven't done it! Reality is in the short term machines (and the AI to go with it if needed) costs too much money in the short term, so governments, businesses and frankly individuals don't want to pay for it. Which is a shame :(

@AuthorJMac Sorry, I guess I didn't make it super clear - I understood you weren't being literal haha. I was just thinking that another problem ref AI, is we don't need AI advancements to have the stuff which would impact our lives the most (to have more time to make art and write), just no one has invested in it |
