@nealcurtis the govt protects from corp. or do you protect us? did u understand the division of powers and why 1 power can lead to north korea. straight. to north korea. no detour. straight. light speed. are we there yet? @nealcurtis now i see we share the same notion. i was too enraged too grasp the depth of ur meme @nealcurtis (pointless rant, sorry) Yeah guys, except that's what happens *every* *time*. @nealcurtis Seeing my dad, who is a huge paranoid about the government tracking you and stuff (and that's legit), become a Tesla owner is a trip. At least the government has theoretical oversight and barriers to keep it from just grabbing all the data your car is tracking right now. There's just NONE against the company, and the kicker: They can sell that data to the government and it's all legal and shit. You gave it away. Not a libertarian though. @nealcurtis That's a re-introduction of monarchies. But different. Monarchs had "blue blood" and were "sent by god". These will be "had earned his place by hard work" and "is a defender of freedom", etc. @nealcurtis @philpem This is honestly the most concise and effective summary I've ever seen of that philosophy's end state. @nealcurtis Libertarians prefer having us all owned by a corporation, while crying about gov’t tyranny. |
