I remember walking across the Manhattan Bridge, thinking, "None of these people are terrorists. But we are all about to be treated as such." It might have been more accurate to say suspected terrorists, as we were not actually imprisoned.
Now the surveillance state has metastasized into the infection state. It's bleak.
