@stilgherrian that 100% looks like someone initially came up with the much worse version, had it pointed out to them, and decided this was different enough. @stilgherrian I just tested this with my 11 year olds: "stay away from the middle?" "don't touch?" @chrisisgr8 @stilgherrian probably the best description of HP yet @stilgherrian exactly the same symbols currently in use by Lenovo, and I thought the same thing. @mike @stilgherrian ... look at least they have refrained from using the <-> arrows ... @stilgherrian The package designers must have thought this hardware to be the Greatest Of All Time, Special Edition. @stilgherrian Iโll never forget this classic from Breville, still proudly on shelves all over the world @fraggle @stilgherrian I like how this reply tells me everything I need to know about the image being replied to. @stilgherrian I've been on the internet too long to know where this is going @stilgherrian Oh my. My oh my. That just lends itself to All Kinds of Shennagans, doesn't it? If you are in front of the packaging, your hands can't be this way. To be palm down, your index finger is on the bottom. For your index finger to be on top, your hand has to be palm up, and your thumb visible. This makes this pictogram even more mysteriousโฆ @stilgherrian Reminds me of one of the contest entries for the 2012 Olympics. BBC pulled it from their web site shortly after BoingBoing ran a story about it @stilgherrian |
@stilgherrian @munin ship it, no notes
