There's no reason to not at least try using desktop Linux in 2024.

It may not be for you yet, but there's a very good chance that it is. If you don't try for yourself, you'll never actually know. And you only actually have choice if you know.

@Worst Not everyone is into GTA. Not everyone is into online multiplayer gaming.

Also, bans will continue until a significant portion of people starts using Wine, so it's even more of a reason.

@drq client-side anti-cheat tools are mostly Windows-based. It's a known issue, but no big deal in general, because adequate developers implement server-side ones.

From the same DMA cards, even a kernel-level anti-cheat will not help if there is a normal firmware, only neural networks on the server
