@lauren@davidho Personally, I’d rather see cities invest more in bicycle infrastructure and public transit, especially the latter that can accommodate those who can’t bike.
@ELS@davidho This is a sore point with me, all the people who don't seem to realize that not everyone can bike, and that even for those who can, it's often totally impractical and too dangerous in the city.
@lauren@ELS@davidho public transit *does* work in la. Or it would if it got the same investment as private cars. LA used to have an extensive public transit system before it was ripped out. What doesn't work in LA is everyone driving their own car, which is why it's worked famous for its traffic.
