#linux #kink #hdd #scsi #ata #nvme
switched from nbd to nvme-tcp, looks like linux finally got proper solution for network block device which is fast and fail-tolerant, feels more responsive than nbd, connection failures/packet drops/disconnects are handled, have not tested yet server restart while client connected, but it worked with iscsi, so i guess it will also work here (nvme-tcp seems to have very similar to iscsi design, but it also works fast enough and do not cause kernel panics compared to iscsi)
