been using Chromium as my primary browser on ye old MacBookPro11,4 for the past few months and it's better than literally every other choice. (literally the only current option - and you know I've tried them all - that does not make it get all hot and bothered.)

EXCEPT... it just *will not* play streaming video files. which is fine.
